Walk of Stars is a new direction for Gilded Lows, taking the still reverberating alt country twang more into a more aggressive but bouncy romp. The heavy 60's psych influence is still there, but filtered through a rye post punk introspection about the dark parts of old Silverscreen era Hollywood. With a soaring chorus feeling a bit like something the Zombies. or the Animals, and a throughline of Dick Dale/Shadow inspired surf licks by Buckley Willis. Gilded Lows croons, barks and reflects on what it takes to chase fame and who would go after it, it's a dark cautionary tale told with a smirk and a jaunt.

Aiding this shift in Tempo are the drums played by Scott Osment "Deaf Club, Planet B, Glassing". Guitar by Buckley Willis, Bass by Michaeal Germany, Vocals and written by Spencer "Boone"Carter.
