Saw your face across the party... You shot a look - it was a little bit naughty. Seconds later, you're standing next to me. Your hand in the hollow of mine. How could you tell this was my first time? This moment couldn't be more right. You can’t take summer… away You can’t take summer… away When the next storm comes  And it will come It’s going to blow our city away You can’t take summer… away You can’t imagine how it felt Seeing you standing next to somebody else. I couldn’t tear a way my eyes. But this dance with the devil is mine, Under the glow of the pale moon light. It’s time to start our story right. You can’t take summer… away You can’t take summer… away When the next storm comes  And it will come It’s going to blow our city away You can’t take summer… away I stand out in the rushing rain, And get under your umbrella. I let my fingers find yours again. I didn’t even catch your name. And just like that, the storm is gone, Leaving behind the summer sky, Where all the stars are shining in… Your eyes.

It is only in the calm In the arms of the ones I love After I’ve wandered far enough I leave The Unholy Mountain. If I break out of the sway… Stop my plowing on judgment day Let my little feet find the way I can see the neon garden. Shining a light through the snow Not many miles to roam I’m coming back from a-long-long-away And I’m finding myself at the end With a little bit farther to go… I was holding in my palm All the pieces of a plastic bomb An unsuspecting kid may come upon In the wreckage of The Wasteland… Splintered and lost on the run Blistering soul in the sun Seeking no fame, on the Mono alone, As I pick at myself till I’m raw… Uncovered all the way to the bone. Moonlight, you save me from sleep Whisper a phrase that I’ll keep Echoing footfalls - I fall along Till my windows give way to the shame And the sensitive secrets I own. You are a tricky man’s dream Heaven, I cry while you sleep You draw me in And you make me at Home Till I’m losing myself in the dark Of the Infinite Shadow I’ve thrown.

Clouded Head 02:27
Lord knows I was getting off in my retirement But big words are coming loose again Tumbling, uncoordinated in my downfall Recalling everything I’ve said Even the sunshine, I never really saw the light I woke up with a clouded head that morning And even in my own mind, I never really had the right I woke up with a clouded head this morning Who am I trying to kid? Of course it bothers Me that I wasn’t cool to you. My God, it isn’t hard at all to see it mattered… But my time? It isn’t free at all.
4.
Color Clouds 01:50
I’m just glad I’m here for another day The stardust of my spirit hasn’t been fully swept away… Make a soft muffled crackling - a sacred sound Cross my toes and my fingers that it all works out Tilt my eyes to the heavens and I cry out loud Lay my head on a pillow made of color clouds. Thank You for a voice… It’s a rustling wind There’s a method to my madness that I am still deciphering… When eclipsed by an energy that has no ground What you know, what you live, is what you must let out Conglomeros, I call to Thee to cut me down… Lay my head on a pillow made of color clouds.

Have A Fit 03:40

Look who’s finally coming up for air! The other lungfish, bothered now, are starting to stare. That’s ok, because I’ll never go there again. Not for nothing, but that thing’s not yours. It never will be, neither, but I hope you enjoy! Lounging in the sewer’s a hot commodity ;) Stealing’s not pretty, but neither is slithering. Your dark streak’s nothing on what I compress There’s never been an unholier man undressed If I were a gowanus eel, you’d better murder me Chop my head off and set my spirit free… I feel the fever through the mud I beg it closer - and it comes A chiseled grin that doesn’t care Two silent eyes don’t see what’s there Just need the violence in my blood  To eclipse the thunder when it thrums Am I finally getting out of the canal, Where the water isn’t putrid, or the swimming So shallow? On my own, the way I know how to be. Hazel twilight and star shine for company. I swim the final lap alone, Under the sky-black neon glow, A quiet crispness in the air. I will not look - it is not there. So when our sweet dreams cease to be, Remember babe, This is not me.
8.
Now I can see you poking fun at me through your disguise Now I don’t Now I can hear you saying “Maybe this is my time!” Nah, it’s not. Why have I been cast out of your light? Now I can hear you writing festival songs for all time, While I’m not. Now, when you’re dancing, will you ever remember my name? Even though, I can see you, I wanna live in your shadow.
9.
Murder Pop 04:06
I’m glad we could take this ride I like seeing you at my side The thought of you makes me smile all the time It should be an awesome night. So… Whatever happened, friend? Why did the good times end? Y’know, I’ve always been right here… …within arm’s reach. I just want what’s best for you You’re a part of me, too. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do To bring you back - Don’t tell me that isn’t true. We walk into the night (I daydream it) Under a blackened sky (Moonlight on skin) Now I’m bringing The Shovel down on your head. And the world didn’t make a sound When I buried you in the ground No one whimpered your name out loud When your body was never found. In the comfort of my bedroom, Underneath a nightmare moon, Dreams come sweetly and soon. :) It was an awesome night! No one put up a fight. No man has had more right To take a life.
10.
All these problems are in my head All my wishes were already granted All these problems are in my mind I couldn't see your love while I was still blinded... ...and am I not *still* blind? All these problems are just for show All my worries are just innuendo All these problems are in my head I couldn't see your love while I was still blinded ...and am I not *still* blind? I'm doing these things as well as I can but I can't control the weather I'm doing these things as well as I can but I can't keep much together.

On the crest of a wave The apex of the eternal horizon The smallest particle couldn’t be in two places at once This Sun’s too bright with no Room And I’ve blinded myself again Now I wax and wane with the moon And I think that I’m having a crisis of vision I think that I’m starting to have a crisis of vision Shuffle my feet, out in the heat But I still feel the cold, am I getting too old For these dreams and these visions? These late night collisions? With thoughts from past times, Maybe send me a sign Of arms open wide in a room To take over my senses again Let me shine with the strength of the moon It’s alright that I’m having a crisis of vision. One more time We’ll be the sunlight And burn our names On the grave of the World

Wet Shadows 02:33
In the dark valley of wet shadows Poor little boo-boo was scared and starving Waining out of sight Don't you cry, there's still a little light Don't you cry, don't say goodnight Small tree, I see you Looks like you've got no fruit So small, you've been forgot Beneath the tall tree's root Precious little light Don't you cry, there's still a little light Don't you cry, don't say goodbye There's still a little light
14.
Old Magic 02:25
Welcome Back, my Dear… Will you make room for another song? I promise that it won’t take very long. I’m a new idea And good enough that someone else should hear. If you don’t let me out, I’ll just play dead. But how can you ignore me When I’m POUNDING in your head? Out in the world, you will get lost Fully sinking beneath the rising water Dangling from your golden thread I’ll help you sing with your old magic again. You don’t need your words To send your heart to the entire world. And if that message seems to make you squirm, I might grow to be your favorite little WiggleWorm. Out in the world, everyone’s lost Fully absorbed in all the static But clinging on to your golden thread You’ll help them sing with their old magic again. Hmm… :)
