"Still" and "Teach" were written and recorded right after Two Peach Trees was released and were intended to be a part of my second record “Lower.” They didn’t make the cut but I loved em just as well. Lyrically, Still was birthed out of the ebb and flow of a relationship and what good and bad means in relation to each individual involved. Give and take being the ebb and flow - or vice versa I suppose. Both tunes were reflections on isolation and learning to embrace it, and ultimately, love it. The word “still” has sorta become a new mantra for me - even if I am moving more now than ever. - Dominic Billett
