Season 3 of Perpetual Doom's 'Stay Tuned' concludes with Kate Bollinger and Ben Varian's rendition of 'The Log Song' from the cartoon 'The Ren and Stimpy Show,' famously used in the program as a satirical advertisement for a non-existent product. 🪵🎶

"My oldest brother loved Ren and Stimpy when we were younger. He brought home the DVD box set and it was then that I heard (and saw) the log song for the first time. Kate Bollinger, born and raised in Charlottesville, Virginia, was surrounded by music from a young age, with her mother being a music therapist and her brothers active in local bands. She began writing songs as a child and gained attention when her brother recorded one of her songs in 2011, which she uploaded to SoundCloud. Throughout high school, she honed her craft by attending songwriting workshops and playing shows, eventually forming a band to record her EPs "I Don't Wanna Lose" and "A Word Becomes a Sound." In 2022, she made her debut on Ghostly International with "Look at it in the Light," expanding her sound and visuals. Since relocating to Los Angeles, she's continued to release singles and tour while working on her debut album.
